Overview
The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is the authority on wish granting in our country. With 26 years of wish granting, and over 16,000 wishes behind us, we have fulfilled more wishes for children in Canada than any other wish granting agency.
What began in 1983, on the kitchen table of an inspired and committed volunteer, named Laura Cole, has blossomed into a national organization with chapters in every province. From humble beginnings granting fewer than 20 wishes a year The Foundation has established the capacity to fulfill more than 900 wishes annually.
The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is extremely proud of the fact that we have never denied an eligible child a wish and that we have been able to fulfill some of the most complex wishes imaginable.
Granting wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses is our primary line of business and the most powerful way in which The Children’s Wish Foundation fulfils its mandate. Staff and volunteers work tirelessly to maintain the highest quality of service to our wish families with attention to the most minute details so as to ensure the total satisfaction of each and every wish child.
We owe our success to the hundreds of thousands of Canadians who have contributed their time, talents and money over the years to help us make wishes come true.
Our Chapter’s Provincial office is located in Saint John. We rely on and appreciate the generous commitment of our dedicated Board members and the enthusiastic volunteers throughout New Brunswick.

Become a Part of the Magic
The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada relies solely on the generosity of individuals, groups and businesses, who through donations and fundraisers, enable us to continue our work of granting the wishes of children over the age of three and under the age of eighteen who have been diagnosed with a high risk, life threatening illness. To date, with your support and the support of members of the community, over 675 wishes have been granted in New Brunswick.
